Petit’s Auto and Performance was started by Todd, Jody and their son Dawson Petit in 2018 in Minong, WI. The next year, they started Petit’s Outdoor Rentals out of the same location. Their love and passion for the Automotive and Powersport world drove their desire to start both businesses. As their businesses grew, so did the need for more help! Todd 2.0 joined the team in 2020 as a service tech. Todd and Jody’s daughter, Jerzy joined the team in 2022 as front desk and customer service for both business. Their son-in-law, Lewie, was added to the mix in 2022 to help manage Petit’s Outdoor Rentals and marketing.

Todd and Jody grew up in the Hayward/Winter area. Both of them have a passion for their family, entrepreneurship and things with motors! So it made sense for them to start up these family businesses to tie everything together!

Dawson Petit

Dawson graduated from UTI in Arizona with Honors and many other achievements in his class. He’s been a gear head since he was old enough to crawl! His main passion is aftermarket and performance work, but if you put just about any broken engine in front of him, he’ll have it fixed before you know it!

Lewie Welch

Lewie comes from the lifelong career in customer service and management. He loves helping our renters get set up for their day and does everything he can to make sure it’s a trip that you’ll remember for the rest of your life!

Todd (2.0) Lamson

Todd 2.0 has had a wrench in his hand before he knew what to do with it. Todd specializes in all of our undercar work in the shop, rental equipment maintenance and also helps Dawson with more specialty jobs.

Jerzy Petit

Jerzy is the face and voice you’ll see most often when you call or stop in to our Minong location. She handles the front office for the Auto and Performance business and also helps out with the renters!

Rocket & Colbie

Rocket and Colbie are the two shop dogs that you’ll see from time to time! Rocket mainly hangs out at the Minong shop and Colbie bounces back and forth between the two! Very sweet dogs that love belly rubs and treats!
